Science Lesson Planning Online
Over the past year and a half, given the pandemic and the political situation, Studer Trust moved our cohorts to Alumni Online Courses to ensure attendees safety and access. With each course, the students and teachers have become increasingly comfortable engaging with the online format, albeit with ongoing connectivity issues. Such was the case for our fourth Alumni Online Course (AOC 4), which took a focus on science.
The AOC 4 lasted four weeks beginning in July and was aimed at improving science lesson planning. The course topics included Lesson Planning, Investigating, Teaching Aids and Assessment Tools. Each participant was required to make one lesson plan for each, with weekly feedback sessions from both the trainers and other participants.
One thing we knew to plan for was internet connectivity issues due to unstable networks. To get around this issue, instructors called all teachers by phone that were not able to attend after each lesson. They also posted the contents of each session to the Facebook group to ensure that the information was there for all participants to review.
Overall, attendees found the AOC to be highly valuable and we heard feedback such as:
“The materials helped me to plan the lessons easily and effectively. I was able to polish my prior knowledge and learn new techniques which helped me improve so much.”
“I became able to make the lesson plans without difficulties. Although I was afraid of teaching Science before, I gained confidence to teach now. The course motivates me to learn more and more and makes me more confident through the materials.”
“The feedback helped me think of other points of view and exchange knowledge. It will help me make the best lesson plan so that my teaching in class will be successful.”
“The lessons are easy to follow and appropriate for the participants. So, I could finish the course without difficulty.”
“I will be able to teach by using better teaching techniques and making better lesson plans. I improved my communication skills through feedback sessions. I got knowledge and new techniques that I can share with my colleagues. So it is effective for my personal development and for my school.”
“I gained new techniques and a lot of knowledge from the course. I also got new experiences. I am interested in participating in other courses held by TTC.”
The Studer Trust Teacher Training Center (ST-TTC) would like to express its appreciation to the participants for their active participation and enthusiastic learning. AOC 4 အား ဇူလိုင်လမှ စတင် သင်ကြားပို့ချခဲ့ပြီး လေးပတ်တာ ကြာမြင့်ခဲ့ကာ သိပ္ပံသင်ခန်းစာပြင်ဆင်မှုတိုးတက်လာရန် အာရုံစိုက်ကာ လေ့ကျင့်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ သင်ခန်းစာပြင်ဆင်မှု၊ စူးစမ်းရှာဖွေလေ့လာမှု၊ သင်ကြားမှု အကူအညီများနှင့်သင်ထောက်ကူပစ္စည်းများ စသည်တို့ ပါဝင်သည့် သင်ခန်းစာခေါင်းစဉ်များအား ထည့်သွင်းပို့ချခဲ့ပါသည်။ သင်တန်းပေးသူနှင့် တက်ရောက်သူများထံမှ အပတ်စဉ် အကြံပြုချက်များပြောကြားသည့် သင်တန်းချိန် အပါအဝင် သင်တန်းတက်ရောက်သည့် ဆရာတစ်ဦးလျှင် ခေါင်းစဉ်တစ်ခုချင်းစီအတွက် သင်ခန်းစာအစီအစဉ်ရေးဆွဲရပါသည်။

ခြုံငုံပြောရလျှင် သင်တန်းတက်ရောက်သူ ဆရာများက AOC သင်တန်းအား အလွန် တန်ဖိုးထားကြပြီး အောက်ပါကဲ့သို့ အကြံပြုချက်များအား ပြန်လည်ကြားသိရပါသည်။

Studer Trust ၏ ဆရာလေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားရေးစင်တာအနေဖြင့် သင်တန်းတွင်တက်ကြွစွာ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး စိတ်အားထက်သန်စွာသင်ယူလေ့လာပေးခဲ့ကြသည့် တက်ရောက်သူများအား လှိုက်လှိုက်လှဲလှဲကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိကြောင်း ဖော်ပြလိုပါသည်။
ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ပေးကြသူ များကြောင့်သာလျှင် Studer Trust ၏ TTC သည် သင်တန်းများစွာအား ပို့ချနိုင်ခဲ့ကာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ပံပိုးနေသည့် ပြည်သူလူထုအတွက် ဆက်လက် အကျိုးပြုနိုင်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အဓိကအနေဖြင့် Wai Yan Association နှင့်တကွ အလှုရှင်များအား TTC အနေဖြင့် အထူးအသိအမှတ်ပြုကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိလိုပါသည်။ အလှုရှင်များ၏ပံ့ပိုးမှုမရှိပါက ဤကဲ့သို့ လေ့ကျင့်ရေးသင်တန်းများနှင့် အွန်လိုင်းသင်တန်းများရှိလာနိုင်ရန် မဖြစ်နိုင်ပါ။
