Greetings to all our Supporters!
Our Annual Report for 2023 is available below. It makes for good reading and I hope you will be encouraged by what has been achieved in difficult circumstances. As you are aware all administrative costs are met with funds that our Founder Peter Gautschi set aside for that purpose – so every dollar that is donated is spent at the point of need – to improve educational opportunities for the children of Myanmar.
While Myanmar remains in the grip of ethnic conflict in many parts of the Country, and many other NGOs have withdrawn from Myanmar, the Studer Trust has managed to achieve our objectives over the past two years and under the leadership of our Executive Director – Kyaw Soe - have an exciting year of work ahead of us.
We have a full programme of teacher training, with three courses programmed at the Teacher Training Centre in Mandalay. We have also identified eight locations requiring new school classrooms. In some schools we will also be installing solar panels for energy, a water supply for toilets and a small library - including the training of librarians. We will also be conducting environmental awareness training under the motto ‘Green and Clean’. Any donation you choose to make will be gratefully received and contribute to a brighter future for the children of Myanmar. Thank you.

WE ARE A GENUINE TEAM
Founders, trustees, staff, donors, beneficiaries and volunteers. We all work together.
We are a privately funded charity. All expenses, from modest salaries to travel expense, postage stamps to bank charges, are covered by a private endowment fund established for the sole purpose of covering costs. That means that every dollar you donate is used for the project for which it is intended.
Our target is to continue with our existing projects in Myanmar while adding new projects selectively. Apart from constructing schools for children in the under-privileged areas in Myanmar, we maintain a Teachers Training Centre, and offer sponsorships to deserving university as well as Vocational School students
